Tournament uno
So the first Tournament of 2006 goes down as one of the longest games in NSCC history, clocking in at right around 8 hours. Also on the list would have to be the Askimbo vs. Probable Cause game of 2000 and the rain tournament at the Wolff house in 2004, where Ryan Casey got stuck on the hill wicket for 6 hours. The general consensus at the game seemed to be that we should come up with some sort of play-off scheme for Tourney 2. If we had to pick a day to play an 8 hour game though, Sunday was a good one, as the weather was perfect and there was plenty of good food and cold beer and such. Boyd and Mike’s hospitality payed off for them, with Boyd taking first and Mike getting his money back for third place. Nate took second place. Game tonight at Appelbaucher park.
